I got the coolest little package I have ever received: 'The perfect mixtape' just arrived in the mail.

Let me give you a background.

I worked with Katie at my last internship in college at this radio station in Jacksonville. We always bonded over New York City (we both had dreams of moving there - she made hers become a reality and mine just became a distant memory). But we always had music that we could relate to because being that we worked at a Top 40 pop station you hear the same 5 songs on repeat.

We always kept in touch at random times in the past 2 years and then one day she decided that we were going to be music penpals. What a fabulous idea!

I like these songs, some of them are familiar, some not but nonetheless I don't have music ADD today and plan to listen to the CD in all of its entirety.
